Board Elections

Qualifications:
  1. Registered Voter
  2. Resident of the City of Little Rock for at least 30 days
  3. More than 21 Years of Age
  4. No party affiliation designated
  5. * Petition must be signed by at least 50 qualified electors of the City (Potential candidates are encouraged to get 75-100 signatures to insure that they have the required amount)
  6. Filing deadline: Will be Announced
  7. No Filing Fee Required
* Petition must be filed with the City Clerk by 12:00 Noon (Act 541 of 1993) not less than 60 days before the November General Election

The packets will be available in the City Clerk's Office, or available on line.


Election Date: November _______.
  1. Officials elected will take office January 1, (year). (Four Year Term-Expiring December 31, (year))
  2. Candidates must file for one of the following positions:
    A list of positions and the incumbent will be listed each election year.
  3. Petitions must be filed with the City Clerk no later than (Date will be specified during the election year) @ 12:00 Noon. (Room 200 City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72201)
  4. Financial Disclosure Forms Candidates shall file Statement of Financial Interest with the City Clerk within thirty (30) days after the deadline for filing for office. (Must be filed no later than (date to be specified during election year). Forms are included in the packet
  5. Campaign Contribution Reports-The Campaign Contribution reports required shall be filed in the Pulaski County Clerk’s Office no later than seven (7) days before the November (date will be specified during the election year) General Election. The final report is due 30 days (date will be specified during the election year), after the election.
