About The Little Rock Marathon
The Little Rock Marathon was founded in 2003 by the City of Little Rock to provide an international running event and raise money for Little Rock Parks and Recreation. The race has donated over $400,000 to Parks and Recreation while building a local running community and industry.  Economic impact has reached over 4 million dollars race weekend.

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for the citizens of Little Rock and visitors from around the world to participate in an efficiently organized, nationally recognized athletic event promoting the City of Little Rock and Little Rock Parks & Recreation, as well as promote health and wellness, encourage friendly competition, while increasing tourism.  To learn more please visit
