PRESS EVENT:  Zoo Introduces New Animatronic Plant at Boo at the Zoo Enchanted Forest Today!

Who:                           Little Rock Zoo officials & animatronic plant from the Enchanted Forest

What:                         Introduction of new attractions at Boo at the Zoo including the new Enchanted Forest with animatronic plants and other new rides and attractions including the hamster ball attraction, rocket ride simulator, new Fiser Kubota Hay Ride, and other haunted attractions

Visuals:                       Colorful animatronic plant, colorful Halloween vignettes and props, workers placing finishing touches on Halloween decorations.

 

Background:              Boo at the Zoo is Arkansas’s largest Halloween festival and begins today, Thursday, October 17, with an adults only preview night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and opens officially to the public this Friday, October 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., through Sunday, October 20, and again October 25 through October 31 and on November 1 for a special Dia de los Muertos Boo at the Zoo. The event features trick-or-treating in a safe environment and offers dozens of Halloween themed activities and rides such as Frankenstein’s Dance Party, the Haunted Hay Maze, a new haunted house, the Fiser Kubota Haunted Hay Ride, carnival games, a costume contest, live music every night, bounce houses, several rides, and many other attractions. Admission is $10 for general admission and includes trick-or-treat tickets and S’mores or $20 per person for an all-inclusive wristband that includes trick-or-treat tickets, S’mores and all rides and attractions.  Guests may purchase tickets in advance for the discounted price of $8 general admission and $18 for wristband admission until 4:00 p.m. on October 18 at www.LittleRockZoo.com.
