Sister Cities Commission
The Little Rock Sister Cities Commission was established by Little Rock Ordinance 16,306. Its thirteen (13) members serve five (5)-year terms. The duties of the Commission are to develop guidelines and programs for Sister City relationships with other cities in other countries, to further public awareness of communities throughout the world, emphasizing such things as cultural, historical and economic aspects of the City's adopted Sister Cities. Members are appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors and can include City Staff and members of the Board of Directors.
Little Rock has five (5) Sister Cities and two (2) Friendship Cities established through Sister Cities International.

- Changchun, China (est. April 5, 1994)
- Ragusa, Italy (est. May 21, 1997)

- Friendship Cities
- La Petite Pierre, France (est. July 19, 1999)
- Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England (est. July 24, 1999)
The Sister Cities Commission meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. in the Sister Cities Conference Room on the second floor of Little Rock City Hall, 500 West Markham Street.
