About Therapeutic Recreation Services

Therapeutic Recreation is purposeful intervention designed to bring about emotional, social, physical and other positive changes in individuals with disabilities. It also seeks to help individuals increase independence and develop skills for improved quality of life. Come and make new friends while enjoying a positive leisure experience.

Little Rock Parks and Recreations Therapeutic Recreation Division is dedicated to providing leisure opportunities for individuals with special needs. The programs are designed to provide an environment where people can enjoy recreational activities with their non-disabled peers.

• Registration is required on all programs.
• Participant Information form must be on file with the TR department.
• Programs are on a first come first serve basis and sign-up forms must accompany the appropriate fees.
