The goal is for each child to complete at least 25.2 miles by February 19th, 2010. That's only `about 1 mile a week! This program is specifically designed for students with disabilities.

On race day, children who are properly registered, paid their entry fee and have reached their mileage goal will complete their final mile with the other students from schools around central Arkansas. You will all walk/roll the last mile together. (location to be determined at a later date) At that time only your students who have met these requirements will receive their medal and T-shirt for participating while also stepping up to health!

The Final Mile is a one-mile, un-timed, non-competitive fun Walk /Roll and will NOT take place on the day of the actual marathon race.
