River Market Al Green Concert Moved To October 27
High temperatures cause of concern for concert patrons
LITTLE ROCK, AR (Aug. 14, 2006) – The River Market District closing 10th anniversary concert event featuring legendary performing artist Al Green has been moved to Friday, October 27 due to high summer temperatures.
The new concert date falls the day before the scheduled Arkansas Razorbacks football game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
Tickets already purchased for this Saturday will be valid for the Oct. 27 date. A full refund will be provided to ticket holders who request one.
Presented by the William J. Clinton Foundation and the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB), concert times and opening acts will remain the same with CRISIS!, a classic/southern rock cover band based in Little Rock, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Riverfest Amphitheater, followed by blues guitarist and vocalist Michael Burkes at 7 p.m. Green will headline the concert at 9 p.m. Concert gates will open at 5 p.m.
Tickets will remain on sale through Oct. 27 and may be purchased at Celebrity Attractions, located at 300 South Spring, Suite 100 in Little Rock, or through all Ticketmaster Outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (501) 975-7575.
Cost of admission remains $10 for general seating and $20 - $30 for reserved seating.
