Traffic Advisory -- CANTRELL ROAD LANE CLOSURE NOTICE

CANTRELL ROAD LANE CLOSURE NOTICE
BETWEEN CEDAR HILL & RIVERFRONT CLOSED APRIL 7-24

(Little Rock, AR—April 6, 2009) Little Rock Public Works Department reports temporary closure of the eastbound right lane of Cantrell between Cedar Hill Road to Riverfront Drive from April 7 through 24. (This is the southernmost lane of Cantrell.)

The closure is necessary because of a sewer line rehabilitation project in the neighborhood.

The lane will be closed each day from 9:00am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday in order to allow for peak traffic flows.

Motorists in the area are encouraged to use extra caution in the area because of utility workers as well as drivers unfamiliar with the closure. In addition, though the street will be open at night on weekends, motorists are encouraged to drive with care due to the presence of barricades, equipment, and/or metal plates in the street.
