(LITTLE ROCK, AR) – The Arkansas Arts Center is seeking volunteer docents for its World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed exhibition. The deadline for application is Tuesday, June 2, 2009. World of the Pharaohs will be held in the Townsend Wolfe and Jeannette Edris Rockefeller Galleries September 25, 2009 through July 5, 2010.
Docents are needed to assist the Curator of Education in the development and implementation of educational programs relative to the exhibition. “Being a docent is such an enriching experience and is a fun way to give back to the community,” said Curator of Education Louise Palermo.
