What: Mayor’s Car Free Challenge Follow Up Rally
When: Sunday, November 13th – 1:00 p.m.
Where: MacArthur Park
Mayor Mark Stodola is ending his Car-Free Challenge Week on Sunday, November 13th with a rally at the Bike Polo Courts at MacArthur Park. Those who took the challenge - walked, bike or rode the bus November 5th through the 11th – will be rewarded with a cycling ankle strap that helps keep pants from being entangled in a bike’s chain.
“I am very proud of the residents of Little Rock,” said Mayor Stodola. “This has been part of my effort to support sustainable practices and encourage more physical activity. Using my bike and taking the bus has been a great way for me to get to and from work as well as other engagements and I look forward to hearing stories from other residents about their car free week.”
