BlazeSports Little Rock For Persons with Physical Disabilities
BlazeSports is a community based sports program for individuals with physical disabilities, neurological disabilities such as Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy and other related conditions. BlazeSports America was developed from the United States Disabled Athletes Fund and is the legacy of the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games. Little Rock is proud to be a part of this.
This program has been developed for those athletes who otherwise would not qualify for Special Olympics or able-bodied programs. Participants do not have to be full time wheelchair users. The only requirement for participant is a physical disability which prevents equal participation with age group peers. We have members who use their wheelchair only for sports participation.
