Therapeutic Recreation Spring 2012
Youth Programs are designed to meet the leisure interests of participants ages 8-18 or that are still in high school.
Participants must be independent in daily living skills and able to be successful within a staff to participant ratio of 1:4 -OR- provide a personal aide. The cost covers expenses of the activity. Unless otherwise noted, you will need to provide money for meals, concessions, if applicable. For participants with an aide, please note that you will be responsible for any fees incurred.
Youth Outings
Youth Outings are designed to assist participants in developing and using their leisure time in ways to enhance socialization, independence and decision making skills as well as improving communication and money management. Join us for fun opportunities to meet new friends and learn successful transition into the community.
Kids Night Out!
You will need money for meals and occasionally for a few of the outings. A detailed schedule will be mailed upon registration. For those participants with an aide, please note that the participant will be required to pay for any fees incurred for the aide.
Dates: Friday evenings Sept. 24th, Oct. 22nd, Nov. 12th, Dec.3rd
Time: Varies per outing (approximately 6:00 pm -9:00 pm)
Pick up and drop off: City Hall
Cost: $25.00 plus meals/concessions

Fall Hayride and Campfire
School’s Out! Come out and enjoy a hayride and campfire with staff from Pinnacle Mountain State Park. We will also have a cookout with hot dogs and marshmallows!

Time: 9:15 am - 1:00 pm
Location: Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Drop off and Pick up: City Hall
Cost: $7.00 (includes hot dog and marshmallow roast)
Arkansas Symphony Orchestra
Enjoy the sights and sound of the season!! Join us for an hour of seasonal tunes and carols, made magical with exciting staging and lighting effects.
Date: Saturday December 19th
Time: 1:30pm - 3:15pm
Cost: $20.00
Location: Robinson Music Hall
Drop off and Pick up: City Hall
*We will walk across the street to the performance.
